Membership is open to persons 18 years of age or older, residents of St. Charles Parish and interested in the welfare of senior citizens. Membership is not required for citizens 60+ to participate in the services provided by the Council on Aging. It is not necessary to renew membership each year.

Activity Centers serve as community focal points for seniors 60+ come together for services and activities.
Hot nutritious meals served Monday through Friday. Clients must call nearest center the day before by 1:30 pm.
Activities to support, improve 60 + well being.
Hot nutritious meal delivered to qualified homebound Monday thru Friday.
Two hours light housekeeping to qualified homebound.
Personal emergency response system used to summons help in an emergency.
Personal care in the home to give caregiver a brief relief or rest.
Personal assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene to eligible seniors.
Transportation available Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm to Activity Center, banks, medical facilities, post offices, shopping, pay bills, etc... in St. Charles, St. John, St. James, Jefferson, Lafourche, Terrebonne, and Orleans Parishes. Must schedule by 1:30 pm the day before 985-783-6683
